Dr. York received his BA from Texas Tech University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Baylor University College of Dentistry. He has completed the Pankey Institute advanced dental courses. Dr. York has achieved Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and is currently working towards his Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a consulting faculty for the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education.

Dr. York and his wife Norma have 4 children, 3 boys and one girl. They also have 4 grandchildren, three girls and one boy.

He is the supervisor for the McAllen Men’s Bible Study Fellowship International School Program.

Away from the office Dr. York enjoys bicycling, hunting, fishing and working in the yard.
